We provide holistic consulting services that encompass the environment, architecture, civil engineering,
landscaping, and agriculture.
We listen to the rhythms of the earth: the foundation of every Wakuworks project is a comprehensive
environmental survey of the project site.
This survey goes beyond the ground hosting the work, and extends to regional watersheds, mountains, and
predominant weather patterns.
Once the land of the project is understood, we proceed to design stage hand-in-hand with the client,
learning and incorporating their vision.
We value the process by which clients, communities, and all other living things can grow together.
Our understanding of and gratitude for the interconnectedness of people, nature, and earth, lead to optimal project outcomes.
To promote environmental regeneration, we hold workshops, trainings, and other educational endeavors as opportunities to learn together.
Our emphasis is on hands-on, practical applications: participants get their “hands dirty”, learning by doing and while employing all five senses, and ultimately attaining the ability to apply regenerative works in their own home and work environments. While we undertake these activities on project sites in order for communities to understand the work and method, we also provide these activities standalone. Our target audience encompasses children to adults, from kindergartens to nursing homes: schools, universities, companies, local governments, and communities.
